My 6 year owned stock 1979 2l devon bay. In need of work to pass MOT. It will fail on hole near seat belt mount and a small bit of welding on the front beam. I have been quoted £3k + parts to replace basically most of the bottom foot of rust. The front doors can be repaired or replaced. The cab steps and wings are totally shot. Structure underneath is basically sound.
Interior by cabinet maker and original seats recovered. virtually Unused 3 way electrolux fridge, interior panels recovered. Removable face single cd player and decent speakers.

It was with mixed feelings that I packed up my desk on my last day at the Advertiser. Home for the past 12 years. Many happy times, much learnt and some fantastic colleagues. I started as a young freelance and owe allot to my first chief photographer John. Treat people they way you would like to be treated and never walk away from an assignment without some kind of image. Good advice.
John, Dave, George, Kev, Theo, Matt, Paul and Dan and all the regular freelance guys past and present I am proud to count all of them as personal friends.

The new job is really only just down the road but its still going to be a new dawn.
